I have been amazed at the preponderance of mid-century rose varieties here, and also surprised to learn that there is actually quite a bit of commercial rose growing locally. So hopefully that is a good omen for the rose bed ;-) Thanks so much, Ann! <br />(btw, I had to edit the post. Some wisteria would make a lovely vase; I wonder whether the stems should be treated before arranging? You're quite right about Sterling Silver - it's ability to blend makes it invaluable for vases, something I never knew before following this meme ;-) Thanks for dropping by after your long trip!Amy@SmallSunnyGardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02490564566463354419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3315847063483821430.post-27493068322443753232015-05-12T07:47:54.374-07:002015-05-12T07:47:54.374-07:00I'll look forward to seeing yours, Kris! Makes me think of using wisteria in a vase which I hadn't contemplated before. Sterling Silver is beautiful and so different from the usual colours of roses we see, and somehow the other elements blend with it perfectly, particularly the way you have got that soft focus in your last picture. Now you've put the idea in my head so it may be picked up in one of my vase posts one day.Kris Petersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07097260283693156795noreply@blogger.com
