    It just looks too delicate to flower in such heat, but it really thrives in temperatures that make most other plants curl up and die

It certainly gives me hope that I really can pull together a garden that will still look good - and bloom - at this time of year ;-) Granted, I think the fact that it's still blooming in midsummer is an anomaly of it having been newly started (I picked the youngest plant on the shelf). But you're quite right: it's an amazing plant!

    1. It gets a bit warm... Of course, that does give me the chance to grow things (like crape myrtle) that wouldn't grow well in cool-summer areas! Thanks for dropping by :)
