If I could have only one fruit tree, it'd probably be a lemon tree. Luckily, I inherited a mature specimen that produces fruit year-round here. I hope your tree brings you as much satisfaction!
It's bringing much more satisfaction than last year, when we lost the whole crop. This year I fed and watered them better with results according. I agree about only one - or nearly, because an orange tree might edge out the lemon... ;-) Happily, our orange tree has been very healthy and fruited both years; now we're just waiting for this year's crop to get a little sweeter!
Now you have got me green with envy!
ReplyDeleteAnd the oranges are nearly ripe... ;-) But of course, we can't grow peaches or pears!
Deletemy mouth is watering with the thought of citrus! Lovely images.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like them, Ann! The desert does itself proud on citrus!

ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful. G&T time!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot :) I was a bit surprised to find these flowers, since blooming has been fairly seasonal in this rugged climate, but there they were!
