    1. Thanks a lot :) I was a bit surprised to find these flowers, since blooming has been fairly seasonal in this rugged climate, but there they were!

  5. If I could have only one fruit tree, it'd probably be a lemon tree. Luckily, I inherited a mature specimen that produces fruit year-round here. I hope your tree brings you as much satisfaction!

    1. It's bringing much more satisfaction than last year, when we lost the whole crop. This year I fed and watered them better with results according. I agree about only one - or nearly, because an orange tree might edge out the lemon... ;-) Happily, our orange tree has been very healthy and fruited both years; now we're just waiting for this year's crop to get a little sweeter!
