Thanks so much, Ann! I've been very happy working with my 85mm lens in the garden; it's light enough to carry around easily and still gives good close-ups for flowers and... butterflies :)
This one stayed put for a long time for me, Kris. All I had to do was follow around to get profile shots since the little creature seemed to prefer staying face-on... Thanks a lot :)
One of those naturally perfect moments, Tatyana! These little Tetraneuris flowers also make a wonderful combination with the silvery blue butterflies... ;-)
such sharp and beautiful images, Amy. (I am having trouble commenting from my new blog, so hoping this gets through .... Ann)

DeleteYou did much better than I did in capturing a little skipper. Wonderful photos.

DeleteThe little flower must have been producing lots of nectar to keep the butterfly happy long enough for you to take such good photos.
ReplyDeleteIt must have :) These wonderful little daisies (Tetraneuris acaulis) have just started blooming again in response to a couple of good rains. Thanks!
