It's a real treasure for the garden here, Kris! It's said to grow naturally in seepage areas in canyons, so I keep plenty of rock around and mulch it well; and besides, it has its own olla ;-) But it came through last summer well and looks set to do the same this year!
Thanks, Kate :) For me, this one represents a lot of what I'm trying to do with this garden: find plants that are fully adapted to the region, but can be used similarly to classic garden plants...
Such a lovely delicate little thing! It's remarkable it handles desert conditions too.
